With the propensity of rave reviews, I'm not going to repeat what everyone else has said, because it'll just be a long list of cliches-- "stupendous, amazing, dramatic," et cetera. Apt though they may be, the only thng that shaves off that .01 of a star is the rushed and thin approach to the extras. The commentaries are done by a rotating group of people, and some of them (the commentaries during the dalek stories, in particular) aren't interesting or enlightening at all. The final disc of Dr. Heroes dvd collection 1-4 Who Confidential purchase all seasons of Boston Legal on dvd stuff is especially lacking because that's all it contains. That said, who cares? It's a superlative series and a superlative show. You could package this set in used hamburger wrappers and I'd still profess my undying admiration for it.
I very much enjoyed this season 3. 1 and 2 were great too, no doubt. But this was a whole new level. The Master episodes were just wicked. But there were other great episodes. Next best was Blink, which if Stephen King were to write Lie to Me dvd a Dr. Who episode, this is probably what he would come up with.
I debated buying season three as I didn't enjoy this season as much as I had the first two, but it was worth every penny. David Tennant's personal diaries are The King of Queens season complete great and the extras including Weakest Link Doctor Who Special and a special concert with Doctor Who music and monsters were an unexpected treat. I haven't completed the whole box set, as there is so much, but I highly recommend this box set.
The first two seasons of Doctor Who were a joy to watch, the first season in particular. Russell T. Davies brought back a classic sci-fi show and added an emotional depth and reality that were sometimes lacking in previous seasons. Both Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant did an amazing job playing two very different incarnations of the same man and Billie Piper...well, there buy Veronica Mars on dvd boxset were few viewers left unsurprised by the strength of her performance. That said? Season three was a purchase Veronica Mars series seasons shaky outing. The introduction was competent, good even, but things took a turn for the worse from there. The Daleks Take Manhattan episodes(you know you thought it) were just bad. Not mediocre, bad. Martha was introduced as a more intellectual companion, but was comparing her love for the Doctor to religious worship within three episodes. Her medical knowledge was never used, neither was the character ever satisfactorily fleshed out, as Arrested Development 1-3 dvd collection Rose was; her defining characteristic by default buy Queer as Folk complete series was her unrequited love for the Doctor and her jealousy of Rose. Freema Agyeman, though quite Castle collection dvd pretty, just doesn't have the necessary skills and presence to carry off such a neglected character.Still, there are excellent episodes in the second half of the season. Human Need and Family of Blood are simply wonderful and Blink will very likely win Stephen Moffat yet another Hugo. Captain Jack's reappearance gave the series a healthy shot in the arm. And the classic character who makes his new series debut in Utopia-played by superlative actors-makes nearly the whole thing worthwhile. In the end, though, I certainly won't be paying for this series, as gladly as I did for the last two. I have to believe that the post-season four hiatus will Brothers & Sisters set series 1-4 be a good thing for the show's quality.
